can someone help with dog care? how much will shots, frontline, check-up, and tags cost for my chihuahua mix i am new to all of this and want to make sure i am not going to be out of money the rest of the month after his care, please help!
(it is his first time to the vet, he is about a year and a half -just got him- and around 25 lbs, i have just noticed tonight that he has fleas.
i live in rural iowa so i dont imagine it would be $500 like in cali...
i will probably end up calling to ask...

As you have just got this dog, hopefully you knew you would be up for the vet visit and have money put aside to pay for it. You didn't mention worming though and that must be done too.
Vets set their own fees so it's difficult to guess how much it will cost.
As the dog has fleas he will also have tapeworm. He needs to be wormed and you will need to treat your home for fleas. The flea eggs and larvae will already be in your carpets etc.,
