What do you spend monthly on your pets?

I was just chatting with someone about how we will have all three pets at the vet in the next two weeks getting shots and dental cleanings, and then the cost of pets came up. It looks like at a bare minimum we spend at least $165 or so our pets each month. That is $60 something on the "wellness plan" at the vet, $35 for the dog's prescription food, $16 for the puppy's food, $10-20 on the cat's food, and $30 on litter. And then we spend more on treats!! The only "cheap" treat we buy is pupperoni because we are training the puppy, everything else is high quality and "natural" so that the older dog with allergies can eat them too. That amount does not even include when they are actually sick. Heck, just last week we spent nearly $200 at PetCo buying an extra crate for the puppy (tired of carrying it upstairs!) and various treats, toys, crate pads, and a new cat bed. And the monthly cost is about to go up because we will upgrade two of the pets' plans this week for the dental cleanings!

We have 4 dogs. My husband is much worse on buying for the dogs than I am. He buys them special dog food, dog bones, treats, Turkey legs from the deli when they have them, cheese, toys. Just about whatever he thinks will make his "boys" happy. He has two, I have one, son has one. Husband even goes home from work if it’s raining to let them in the house and in the summer a couple of times a day to make sure they have ICE WATER.
My (and sons) two are spoiled because he can’t leave them out of his doggy surprises or I’ll kill him! But on my part, they all have matching collars and leashes for each season or major holiday. The big dog loves those monkies that make the monkey noise so I always make sure he has a new one of those. And I have been know to go all the way to town (about 7 miles) to get them a treat of a breakfast taco or a soft serve ice cream. And of course they get to go along for the ride. I don’t even consider a new vehicle that is not big enough to carry at least 2 of them at a time. Yes I drive a truck. Two in the cab and two in the back (only on good weather days or cool part of day in TX)
Oh my but putting all of this down really makes me look like a nut! And I haven't even thought about dental, vet or grooming, etc.! By the way, my son is just as spoiled and as dog crazy as his parents so he contributes to the toys, balls, frisbees and treats. Man we would have a lot of money if we were "petless" but we wouldn’t have nearly as much fun or joy! Thanks for asking. But now I’m wondering if it’s some sort of disorder or something! LOL
