Why is my dog hiding your head when you pet?

I have a lab / Rottweiler Mix Dog hiding his face somewhere on my body when I pet him. Sometimes he rests against my leg or my stomach, but it's almost as if trying to hide his face. What's the deal?

Some dogs are naturally timid head. Be thankful yours is not aggressive about it.
