If left alone for the weekend work?
The idea of building a birdhouse for pigeons ... or at least some sort of shelter and see if a pair built a nest on the balcony of the house in the city we live, there are some pigeons that live in my neighborhood and I read the pigeons who have built nests on balconies of people. I intend to use a wooden box used for navigation or operation came as a "nest" for a couple of pigeons. The boxes are 100% and are not open on the sides. They are of good size and a little deeper. I think it would be large enough. Wil box to be left on the balcony of the Townhouse we live, I also plan to do in spring and set out bird seed and water on the balcony. One more thing ... I'm going to Los Angeles in May for 3 days or more for the house, probably will be empty. I thought the establishment of the box bird seed and water on the balcony before going out ... I think if things are left alone during this time, it would be a pair of doves come from? No jokes please ...
You could create a birdhouse, and do not create food and water. Pigeons can find food and water with ease. Also, if you set the food and water, until the end MIGH attract unwanted creatures the nesting area.
